Critical Habitat Survey Project

Did you know that Woodstown and Pilesgrove are home to a number of rare plant and animal species, and that important habitat, including fields, forests and wetlands, is found throughout both towns? However, our understanding of exactly how much critical habitat we have and where much of it exists is limited. Thanks to a ANJEC Smart Growth Planning Grant, the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Joint Environmental Commission is undertaking a comprehensive investigation of important wildlife habitat throughout our community to help us better understand how to find, identify and document important natural resources. Follow the links below to learn more about this exciting project and how you can help.
